A new study by economists at the University of Illinois, Harvard Business School, Harvard University and the University of Chicago projects that more than 100,000 small businesses have permanently closed since the coronavirus pandemic was declared in March, the Washington Post reports.
During these unique times where safety requirements and social distancing are critical, The LEE Group’s sixth annual Small Business Workshop, presented by Fifth Third Bank, is a free, online event beginning Wednesday, June 17th, at 10am, EDT, and will be followed by one-hour workshop sessions 6/24, 7/15, 7/22 and 7/29.
Registration is now open for the Small Business Workshop Kickoff session scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, at 10 am. This 90-minute opening event will examine this year’s theme: “Navigating the Headwinds of Crisis “.
Entrepreneur Rachel Lutz will be the keynote speaker and will share how she pivoted her business during the COVID-19 crisis.
The keynote address will be followed by a panel discussion, moderated by Mark S. Lee, and address key challenges and provide practical advice as you “Navigate the Headwinds of Crisis” for your business. Attendees will hear from the following panel of experts:
