Mark S. Lee, Founder, President & CEO, The LEE Group and host, “Small Talk with Mark S. Lee”, and “In the Conference Room”, will share his experiences and lead an interactive discussion based on his encounter with the late, Mrs. Rosa Parks, while Student Body President, at Eastern Michigan University (EMU), during the 1981-1982 academic year. Lee will discuss challenges and how he overcame them while a student at EMU.
His personal expose will capture the essence of meeting with the Civil Rights icon one-on-one and to address a simple question:
“What’s different today versus 1982?”
This event is scheduled for Monday, January 20, 2020, 10:20 am -11:05 am, room 352, at EMU’s Student Center, 900 Oakwood Street, in Ypsilanti, MI. It’s free and open to the public.
