Donna Doleman, senior vice president of operations and communications, and Bill Mayer, vice president of entrepreneurial services at Ann Arbor SPARK recently kicked off a series of interviews with Mark Lee of Small Talk that will focus on the region’s economy. Donna and Bill discussed the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Ann Arbor and the growth of tech companies throughout the region. They talked about how the deep pool of tech talent and comparatively low costs makes Ann Arbor an attractive place to start and grow a tech business. The well-rounded interview also covered the success that this region’s entrepreneurs have had in attracting capital.
The highlight of the interview was the announcement that SPARK recently expanded its incubator space, SPARK Central, to accommodate mature startup companies. The location is ideal for those who want to be at the heart of Ann Arbor tech hub.
