THANK YOU to all for coming out to this year’s “Small Business Workshop: Embracing Change while Moving Forward.” It was in person for the first time since 2019. This was the tenth consecutive year for this event and was one for the record books with record registrations and attendance. Attendees heard from speakers providing perspectives on embracing change. Additionally, three (3) 30-minute workshops were held which focused on specific challenges confronting small businesses in ’24 and beyond. And for the first time, a Pitch Competition was held. The winner received a grant and free business services ($3.5k in total value) while second place received free business services ($2.5k in total value).
And congratulations to Mecedes Wilson for winning this year’s Pitch Competition!
