The LEE Group (TLG) is pleased to announce it will be holding its Eighth Annual Small Business Workshop. It’s FREE and is being presented by Fifth Third Bank during Small Business Month and will focus on business recoverability and sustainability. It will be held virtually through a series of online sessions kicking off May 11, followed by weekly sessions on May 18, May 25 and June 1. All sessions will start at 10 a.m. EDT.
The purpose of this year’s workshop is to focus on re-establishing a strong foundation, strengthening the small business core with an eye toward the future. The objective is to identify practical solutions businesses need to prepare for a post-COVID-19 world.
Attendees will hear from business experts, entrepreneurs, and community leaders who will discuss practical solutions businesses need to continue to navigate the pandemic while preparing and focusing on the future.

We will open this week’s session with welcome remarks from Tawyna Rose, Vice President Community and Economic Development Manager, Fifth Third Bank,
Next, Brenda Jones, Chief Operations and Director of Subsidiary and Micro Loan Funds, Detroit Development Fund, will provide information on microloans and available funding resources to support your business during this recovery period.
Lastly, there will be a breakout session with Michelle Mitchell, Chief Executive Officer, Mitchell Consulting, to introduce steps on how to take control of finances and help the small business owners reach their financial goals.
